Love Handles Got You Down?

I looked in the mirror this morning and much to my dismay; my love handles are hanging over my pants. There is now a permanent crease over my belt loops. But my pants still fit – kind of. I think my love handles need to shrink; it must be diet time.

There are many ways to lose weight. There are fad diets that have taken the country by storm, and other diets that are just ridiculous. Some work and obviously, if you are like a common person and tried several of the latest fads, most do not work (maybe for the short term, but not the long term). You should take a closer look at your lifestyle and determine what is the best diet for you. You need a diet that will work, and that will have a long-term effect. There are the people who have sedentary life styles and find it difficult to lose weight. There are others who have very active life styles and find it difficult to lose weight. Some may fall in the middle.

One common mistake by dieters is to go on a fast excruciating diet and cut way back on calories and reap (in a sort of way) the benefit of quick weight loss. Three months later they step on the scale and much to their dismay, they are weighing just as much or more than they were before they started. This is NOT healthy.

There are others who go on a workout frenzy and start working out and dieting. They lose some weight and they truly do benefit from the exercise. There is a problem however; they most likely did not like the exercise, and they will stop doing it, and will gain the weight back from the fast diet.

Is there a system that can work for all these different lifestyles? I have found it. The system is great because it teaches you how to eat and exercise based on your lifestyle. You get to learn what is best for you in this program. The results . . . no more gross pant destroying love handles. I have found a weight loss program that deals with nutrition and I have found an exercise program that is fun and keeps me interested in doing what I like to do. This program really works for all types of people.

Now imagine yourself having fun, feeling great, having energy that you haven’t felt in such a long time and benefiting from it. You will lose weight without realizing you have lost it. Your body will be thanking you for years to come.

Now imagine this. You decide not to start a good balanced program that encourages a healthy lifestyle of eating right and exercise. You start taking some “miracle pill” and you think that is going to heal your weight problem. Are you kidding yourself? Imagine yourself starting that rigorous exercise program that you can’t stand and dieting to get rid of that weight. Is something that is going to disinterest you and make you hate exercise and dieting really going to get you feeling better? What are the long-term effects of that scenario going to be? You are going to be much worse off than you were in the start.

Weight loss is not something to take lightly, and you must do it correctly to ensure you do not hurt your body or make yourself worse off. It is important to enjoy what you are doing so you can feel better than you have for your whole life.
